I ordered this dahlia in 2022 and was a bit concerned by the look of the tuber/crown but it did come up and is a wonderful counterpart to its little friends le Baron that accentuates its beauty!

The bulbs came timely and in good condition as ordered. They are starting to come up, anxiously awaiting for them to grow and bloom.

I started with an order of just 2 of these dahlias from Tulip World- one arrived with bulb rot, no eyes and a section of the tuber shriveled and dead, the other was gorgeous.

Called customer service (nicest staff ever) and they sent me a new one the next day! First heathy tuber is planted and within a week has grown to be 3" already.

The replacement tuber came today with a GLORIOUS eye. It's about 6" long, wraps around the bulb - but it's just one of many! The tuber itself is very large, firm and healthy.

Can't wait to have this babies grow up!

P.S. I ordered from multiple other companies this year (regrettably) and I can 💯 say that I WON'T EVER waste my time with them again! Products were finally shipped 10 days after they were supposed to, the shipping time has been over 14 days, customer service is an absolute joke.

The original bare root arrived badly damaged, but it was the only item out of a large order that was damaged. I contacted customer service, and they responded immediately on the chat feature. They sent two replacement bare roots free of charge. Its too soon for any blooms in my area, but the replacements roots were healthy and had "eyes" already sprouting.

Arrived looking great. Planted and growing super well with dark green leaves and flowers buds.
