The size of the bulb and they appeared very healthy. I was very happy to be able to order a red and yellow tulip, which I have been planting for years. Unfortunately, I have ordered elsewhere in past years and what they sent me did not turn out to be the original Stresa tulip, that is red and yellow.

I believe my tulip bulbs were in transit too long. Also, they arrived at the Post office on a Sat. and I could not get them until Monday. The bulbs had a rust color spot all over and they had a dull look, meaning they did not look fresh. I planted them and I am hoping they will surprise me in the spring and produce vibrant red and yellow tulips.

First time I have ever tried forcing bulbs. I already have one bloom appearing in one of my vases.

I ordered these tulips not knowing the cold front was coming 3 weeks later. Well they got to me. I planted thrm on a warm sunny day thinking winter weather had pretty much passed. Welp! New Orleans got hit and went into freezing temps. Luckily I planted them in containers. They all started spiking 2 days in to being i side. Yay!!! In 2 more days they will be back outside. I have counted the spikes and they are all coming out to play!! Yay! Loving what I am seeing.

Bulbs arrived at perfect time and were healthy& big!!!!
