This was not as much work as I thought but this was a lot.

I planted them in large groups in 6 different areas of my yard. Peopke raved about them.

I planted all 500 tulips along a winding drainage that my husband and I "built" earlier in the year and encircling a newly planted young desert willow. Incredibly, every single tulip seems to have bloomed. They are beautiful. They appear almost a coral pink during rains or on cloudy days but when the sun shines brightly, they open and shine bright red. I am hoping they return next year. I live in zone 8 and these are hardy through zone 7.
