The Guacamole Hosta (planaginea) with its' gold to chartreuse colored leaves is a sun-tolerant hosta that can grow to 12-22 inches. Its' tall lavendar blooms are large and fragrant and will appear in late summer. This low maintenance plant is ideal for the beginner gardener. Try planting in a woodland area or a border - and try mixing in some ferns. Also, their large leaves help suppress weed growth!

Tip: Hosta leaves develop best if plants are left undivided for a few years. After that, divide in the fall to move to other areas of the garden or share with a friend!
