The tuberose is a very interesting and unique bulb to grow in the sunny summer garden. Polianthes tuberosa produces gorgeous white flowers on spike which are extremely fragrant with grass like foliage. Since this sweet fragrance (resembling that of a jasmine flower) lingers so long after cutting, this is a perfect flower to cut and place in a vase in your home!

50% did not flower in first year

Wonderful smell, really mesmerizing!!

Only drawback is grows slowly. And out of 3, 2 did not flower.but foliage is healthy. Maybe they might come back next year and flower?

I ordered these during a BOGO promotion (I got 6 for the price of 3). Out of 6, only 2 sprouted and are very healthy. In August, one sent up a flower stalk. Hoping the other one will send out blooms shortly!
